How do I apply a tariff preference for merchandise from Europe?

1. Certificate EUR-1, original, when the value of the invoice is greater than 6,000 euros.

2. The EUR-1 is not valid before the customs if:
• It shows deletions or corrections, without a seal that endorses the correction.
• The Tariff Fraction is different from the one determined by the customs broker.
• The gross weight declared in EUR-1 does not match the gross weight declared in the shipping guide.
• Fields 3, 6 and 10 are optional, it is recommended not to fill them.

3. Legend of origin in invoice, without number of authorized exporter, when the value of the invoice is less than 6,000 euros or its equivalent in national currency (Only applies when the total value of the shipment is less than 6,000 euros), it is required to submit in customs the original invoice with stamp, date and autograph signature.

4. Legend of origin in invoice with number of authorized exporter: "The exporter of the products included in this document (customs authorization or the competent governmental authority n ° ... (1)) declares that, unless otherwise indicated, these products enjoy a preferential origin ... (2) ". The legend must be accompanied by signature, stamp and date.
